Why is Southfield’s Mayor Opposing Patterson’s Gubernatorial Bid?

According to OaklandPolitics.com Southfield Mayor Brenda Lawrence is criticizing Oakland County Executive Brooks Patterson for his decision to test the waters in running for Governor.  Chetly Zarko correctly points out that many of Mayor Lawrence’s criticisms are actually positives for Brooks.
