Chief Charles Craft will be presenting Certificates of Appreciation to members of the G.R.O.W. Program at Troy’s Baker Middle School on January 30th at 9:30am. These certificates of appreciation are for the hard charitable work that members of the Troy Center for Transition program assisted the Troy Police Department with the “Holiday Food and Gift Drive” this past year.
Troy Center is a post-secondary life skills program serving 18 to 26 year old Troy residents with a developmental disability or cognitive impairment. With a focus on preparing for a productive and fulfilling adult life. Our program helps students develop important job, social and independent living skills as well as an awareness of community resources. GROW offers a life skills curriculum that includes focus on daily living skills, personal/social skills, and occupational skills through instruction and job site experiences. The following courses are taught at the center and will be evaluated at each card marking period:

Public Speaking
Essential Math
