Go!”  They entered a Dodge Stratus and sped through the lot toward 14 Mile.  When the officer attempted to stop it, it fled.  The officer discontinued his effort to stop the Stratus as it entered S/B I-75 from W/B 14 Mile.  Shortly thereafter Troy Dispatch received a report of a grab and run of a diamond ring from Elias Diamonds inside the mall involving the two subjects that were observed fleeing in the Stratus.  Investigation revealed a B/M, 25-30 years old, 6-3, thin, wearing an orange jacket, white hat, and dark blue jeans entered the store and asked to see some diamond rings.  He eventually asked to see a 2 CT solitaire ring.  After taking possession of it, he took off running with it.  He apparently met up with the second male outside the store.  Both ran out of the mall and got into the Dodge Stratus.  The second subject was driving.  He is described as a B/M, 25-30 years old, medium build, wearing a gray sweatshirt.  The vehicle they fled in turned out to be stolen from the lot.  See 08-12523 under the Auto Theft category above.  Diamond ring valued at several thousand dollars.  (No video or photos available as of this writing.)  08-12520
