Acura of Troy, 1828 Maplelawn, 3/27-3/31, 1315-1500 hrs.
’08 Acura TL stolen from lot; vehicle keys discovered missing from manager’s office.  08-11310

Julian, 4/1-4/2, 2000-0800 hrs.
Complainant parked his ’07 Chevy Trailblazer in his garage and left the keys in the vehicle the evening of 4/1.  He stated the garage door may have been left open.  He discovered the vehicle stolen.  A complainant on Renshaw contacted the PD at 0300 hrs. on 4/2 reporting a vehicle abandoned on her front lawn.  It turned out to be the stolen Trailblazer.  08-11544

Oakland Mall, 412 W. 14 Mile, 4/3, 1700-2200 hrs.
’98 Plymouth Neon stolen from lot north of JC Penney’s.  08-11806

Breaking and Entries:

Great Lakes Gas, 5250 Corporate, 3/21, 1532 hrs.
Suspect observed prying open door with a screwdriver, however as he entered the alarm sounded and he fled.  Nothing taken.  Suspect:  B/M, 6-0, 215 lbs., short black hair, short facial hair, wearing a black varsity jacket with white trim and the following logo on the back of the jacket:  Sedgwick & Cedar MTC, he was also wearing blue jeans and dark shoes or boots.   08-11738

Oak Hill, 3/30-4/3
Patio entered and a wicker chair stolen.  Entry appears to have been made by removing a screen.  08-11789

Troy Officers responded to two incidents involving family troubles/domestic disputes where investigation revealed no assaults or other crimes occurred, therefore no formal enforcement action was taken.

Macy’s, Somerset Collection, 2750 W. Big Beaver, 3/1-3/22
LPO came to the station to initiate an embezzlement investigation against a 49 year old female employee from Detroit after she was observed steeling miscellaneous items from the sales floor on three separate occasions.  Total value:  $250.00  08-11556

Athens High School, 4333 John R, 4/2, 0700-1430 hrs.
Unlocked ’94 Dodge Spirit entered and stereo face plate stolen.  08-11598

Office Lot, 575 W. Big Beaver, 4/1-4/2, 2000-1200 hrs.
’08 Chevy Impala had front passenger side window smashed out and GPS system stolen.  08-11563

Julian, 4/1, 2200-2359 hrs.
’03 Pontiac Grand Prix and two ’08 Dodge Caravans parked in drive entered and gone through.  All apparently left unlocked as there were no signs of forced entry.  Garage door opener from Grand Prix used to open and enter garage; nothing missing.  Opener found broken on a table inside garage.  Two tins of mints stolen from one of the vans.  08-11581

Unlocked ’05 Chevy Impala parked in lot entered and cell phone charger and garage door opener stolen.  08-11718
