Chase Bank Robbed Today

Troy officers responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Chase Bank located at 2155 West Big Beaver shortly before 1:00 p.m. this afternoon. The investigation revealed a lone subject entered the bank, handed a note to a teller that directed her to give him money or he would shoot. He also told her several times to cooperate and just hand him the money. No weapon was observed or brandished. She handed him an undisclosed amount of money which the suspect took and left. He was last seen leaving the building on foot. A police K-9 track produced negative results. No one was injured. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-23 years old, thin build, approximately 6 foot two inches tall, wearing a white long sleeved shirt, black athletic pants, white athletic shoes, and some kind of cap.
