Join Teens Taking Action (TTA), friends, and family in promoting a healthy lifestyle. Run or walk the 5K event.
PURPOSE: Teens Taking Action (TTA) is a high school youth leadership group that works year round preventing substance abuse. Proceeds from the event will go toward prevention programs.
WHEN: Saturday, April 26, 2008
WHERE: Bloomer Park, 345 John R. (north of Avon) in Rochester Hills.
TIME: Run/Walk begins at 9:00am.
REGISTRATION: Registration begins at 8:15am, make sure to pickup your T-shirt.
FEE: $15.00—Student $25.00—Adult $60.00—Family
Price includes T-Shirt and refreshments after race.
MUST register by: April 11th to receive T-Shirt
AWARDS: Awards will be presented to the fastest female and male.
REFRESHMENTS: Available after the race.

The Coalition does a lot that is good. And we know why they were silent about the expansion of alcohol sales at our golf courses. Still, you should have said something. Our high-school age golfer used these courses and the emphasis placed on alcohol as part of the sport underminds the message not to drink. Their silence was very loud, indeed.
Thanks for the TTA 5K race. As an event, it is one of the few off-road turf/trail races on the running calendar. Will results be available? Advise.
